These three pieces are examples of a new direction that artist Amy F. Levine has recently taken. These are small collages made of watercolor paper and acrylic paints. They are mounted on wood frames and strengthened from behind, then heavily varnished. Although they are three-dimensional, the depth is shallow. The painting has taken primacy over the sculpture in these pieces.
